A magazine cover that I had designed for Kairali, a cultural organization of Malayalees in Baltimore, popped up recently from a bundle of old books and magazines. It needed a fresh look, considering its relevance.
Recent winter storms haven't been really joyous events to cheer about, at least when it comes to getting stuck in highways for hours, shoveling knee-deep snow from driveways and sidewalks, or sitting at home without light and heat due to power outages.
Every dark cloud has a silver lining; every snowstorm brings forth a sunny morning with blue sky and crisp air. The landscape is always incomparably beautiful under the morning sun. It's a winter wonderland!
Note: A little bit about the illustration. It is done in CorelDraw a long time ago. In 1995!
