A Carefree Cat

Cats are easygoing animals.
They just sit around with eyes half-closed and imagine things.
What on earth have they got to contemplate about other than their next nap?
Cats nowadays don't even worry about their next meal either.
Especially the ones in the "developed world."

Most cats that I know can't even recognize a mouse from a rat and vice versa.
All they do is roll on their backs and kick their paws or swat imaginary things.
A butterfly? A flying mouse? Who knows!

Here's such a funny cat staring at something.
Or is it that YOU she's eyeing? Who knows!

This cat is illustrated with Painter X on a 12x9 Wacom Intuos3.

Speed Sketch

It's a quick sketch using Calligraphy brush in Painter X on an Intuos 3 tablet.
I haven't been doing much sketching of late and this should be the beginning of a new activity: a sketch a day.
Hope I would be able to post a few sketches every weekend if not every day. Let's see how it goes!
